A big boo boo!

The HIGH VOLTAGE label is pasted backside up, i.e. mirrored.

Other than that, it is still acceptable.

Front wheel spinner/fairing detail

Rear wheel cover

Simple diffuser as ran in Australia, Malaysia & China

Overall view - No eithad airways decal on front wing flap ran in Australia & Malaysia & Spain.

Slicks look awfully wrong to me.
There shouldn't be a line in the centre of the tyre.

Rest looks like the real thing to me except maybe for a few decals.
I'll wait for maybe Kimi's Spa Victory if I ever get a F60.

that line is the cast. rubbers are all cast that way.

Ya, it can't be helped.
Unless they have a better way to produce the tires... Confused

actually they have, just that they decide not to use it as it cost 20 cents more per tire. its using another mold all together, and instead of halving the mold that they're using now, they shift the shut line of the mold to the round inner edge of the tire. and it takes A LOT more time to assemble/disassemble the mold. and that cost money, so they decide to chuck it aside.

insider's info from Hotwheels factory in m'sia.

If they use this method, I bet that they will use this as a reason for higher prices again.

Only for the tires, but without improvements in the other areas, if there is a large price increase they give, it won't be justifiable...

Just my personal opinion, by looking at how AA increases its prices of models recently...

Yeah i'm sure there is not need for the parting line to be smack in the middle of the slick tyre. Norev managed a smooth & polished finishing of their rubber tyre on the Renault R29 so Hot wheels could have done better.

I'm trying to file using a hobby file the surface of the slick tyre, so that it looks like a used tyre.

hmm, filing will leave marks on the tire, why not try wet sanding? it should look much better. use a 3000dpi sandpaper, best if u use those for sanding plastics. will give a pretty nice "used" effect.
